The great thing about polyethylene kayaks like our Viking kayaks is they are very easy to repair and often can be done in your own garage with minimal tools.
In this video how-to guide we share how to remove a dent from your kayak by applying heat. By slowly heating on and around the dent it will usually return to its original shape, take your time so the plastic heats right through - too close and intense will only heat the surface and could melt it.
It will probably take about five to ten minutes depending on how big the dent is and what is used to heat the plastic - a heat gun, hair dryer or hot water will do the job.
