September 2024 Update

We are thrilled to announce a few things we have been working on behind the scenes to bring you the Viking Kayaks you know and love. Here at Viking Kayaks, we are keen to get back out on the water and make kayaking a must-try activity during the upcoming Kiwi summer in our beautiful back yard, rediscovering adventure and to Explore New Horizons.

• New Material – Lighter Hull Weights

We have been trialling new raw materials we manufacture our kayaks with. These exciting tests have landed us on a new material which is even stronger than before, in-turn enabling us to make each fishing kayak model and the 2+1 lighter! Keeping our hulls fully recyclable (excludes inserts and fittings), stronger and lighter while delivering the same stellar Viking Kayaks performance.

Profish Reload: was 31kg, now 27kg!

Profish 400: was 27kg, now 25kg!

Profish GT: was 26kg, now 25kg!

Viking 2+1: was 30kg, now 27kg!
