Firstly we want to give a massive shout out and thanks to the guys who organize the Taranaki Kayak Fishing Classic...this year again shows why the event is the biggest kayak fishing event on the calendar! Another fantastic year with record numbers attending yet again (we lost count at 220 so don’t know the official final number of entries), kayak anglers travelled from far and wide, as far as VIC AU, Christchurch, Greymouth, Wellington, Waikato, Bay of plenty, Coromandel, Auckland & Northland. Matt Watson adds Profish Reload to his fleet

Matt Watson host of the ITM Fishing show has long been a fan of Viking Kayaks using them as his brand of choice when showcasing kayak fishing in the show. Matt has just added the new Profish Reload to his fleet of kayaks  and after a test paddle the other day he is pretty stoked with the advantages it offers, in particular the removable Tackle pod.

Invitational Comp 2014

The date for the 2014 Viking Kayaks Invitational fishing competition and get together has been set and we want to see you there again this year for yet another great event.  Date is set for Friday the 28th of November and tickets are limited so lock in your place and start planning early. Hey Team and welcome to another addition for Sunday Session wit NZ Kayaker Tim Taylor.Last week we had a great turnout at Lake Okataina and while the fish were few and far between, I think we could all agree that it was a stunning paddle and just a great day to be on a kayak.
